In life we all go through tough times(at least that’s how I keep myself focused), because if I could ask the “why me” question I’m gonna loose focus. So as you meet the challenges and the speed humps, keep your eyes on the ball. You will always have some people who laughs at you, but you will equally have those who laugh with you.
Often times people tend to see or hear the ones laughing at you, it’s because they are thon loudest ones and at that time the one who love you are feeling your pain and are quite. Sort of. At that time they are not necessarily quite, they are praying for you to be fine, they are hoping for you to have the courage to carry on. I know you might say but that is the time I need cheering, at times cheering can be a distraction to an athlete, depending on the kind of marathon they are running.
Up to this day I don’t know how to comfort a hurting person because when I am deeply hurting, I prefer to be alone. At that time even when I talk to my God, I do it in whispers, and therefore I don’t want any noise from outside. Picture a traveller who walks in the desert where there is no life, only a scorching sun, dry wind, no trees, and no water. The only thing to do is to keep moving, to have courage to carry on, that is the time of quietness, of being able to listen to the universe of being able to understand without being told anything.
If you continue to walk in the desert you will finally see what lookslike water ahead of you, guess what, it might not be it. It might be the shine that always appears at the far end on a hot day. That doesn’tgay you must give in, because if you do then are you saying the birds of the sky must eat your flesh while the earth opens up to eat your bone? I don’t think so.
Have faith. Have trust. Have strong will. Have an enormous capacity to accept the circumstance that you find yourself in, but also have the knowledge that at the end of it is a dream that will make your life interesting. Some take a while to get to their dream while others wake up to it. I’d say for those that find it on the silver plate, good for them, but they don’t have a story to tell. But for those that had to travel along slippery and winding road have a colorful picture to paint.
Yes they will tell it to you through a smile although they experienced it through tears, but theirs is definitely the story to be cherished and anyone can listen to it all day and all night.
Its only after you cross over that you say oh wow, I had to go through that to be the person I am today. If you are going through something today, I say to you hang I there, you are not alone, although you feel alone but always remember that God speaks to us in silence. It takes a strong person to hear a message that is conveyed in silence, and that person is you.
