Even a long, winding road can lead to your goal if you follow it to the end.

In life we all go through tough times(at least that’s how I keep myself focused), because if I could ask the “why me” question I’m gonna loose focus. So as you meet the challenges and the speed humps, keep your eyes on the ball. You will always have some people who laughs at you, but you will equally have those who laugh with you.

Often times people tend to see or hear the ones laughing at you, it’s because they are thon loudest ones and at that time the one who love you are feeling your pain and are quite. Sort of. At that time they are not necessarily quite, they are praying for you to be fine, they are hoping for you to have the courage to carry on. I know you might say but that is the time I need cheering, at times cheering can be a distraction to an athlete, depending on the kind of marathon they are running.

Up to this day I don’t know how to comfort a hurting person because when I am deeply hurting, I prefer to be alone. At that time even when I talk to my God, I do it in whispers, and therefore I don’t want any noise from outside. Picture a traveller who walks in the desert where there is no life, only a scorching sun, dry wind, no trees, and no water. The only thing to do is to keep moving, to have courage to carry on, that is the time of quietness, of being able to listen to the universe of being able to understand without being told anything.

If you continue to walk in the desert you will finally see what lookslike water ahead of you, guess what, it might not be it. It might be the shine that always appears at the far end on a hot day. That doesn’tgay you must give in, because if you do then are you saying the birds of the sky must eat your flesh while the earth opens up to eat your bone? I don’t think so.

Have faith. Have trust. Have strong will. Have an enormous capacity to accept the circumstance that you find yourself in, but also have the knowledge that at the end of it is a dream that will make your life interesting. Some take a while to get to their dream while others wake up to it. I’d say for those that find it on the silver plate, good for them, but they don’t have a story to tell. But for those that had to travel along slippery and winding road have a colorful picture to paint.

Yes they will tell it to you through a smile although they experienced it through tears, but theirs is definitely the story to be cherished and anyone can listen to it all day and all night.

Its only after you cross over that you say oh wow, I had to go through that to be the person I am today. If you are going through something today, I say to you hang I there, you are not alone, although you feel alone but always remember that God speaks to us in silence. It takes a strong person to hear a message that is conveyed in silence, and that person is you.

Another good thing ended before it begun

Is it right to say life is unfair? Or it only means we expect things to be all smooth sailing and be in our favor? Why are quick to say I’m the best when things go our way and just as quick to say life is a bitch if things don’t go our way? Why don’t people say “I messed up”? And also why do we call other things/incidents abnormal? Huh? Why do people want things to be their way? They can’t accept we are different therefore we have different tastes? Don’t tell me to write about that which you like because I don’t even know how to explain it, it doesn’t mean because your interest is computer, Internet, current trends then when I write you must say…no people don’t want to hear about that. They want to hear about the trending issues, no they don’t want that….don’t say writing about my thoughts in not normal, because it is with me. What if I think what you like is not normal? Because thatSA how I feel anyway, I feel like your way of doing things is not normal, you want me to like what you like, to agree with you always, according to me that is not normal.

That means nothing is not normal, but I don’t like it when you think you are normal and I’m not, because you are not normal. The fact that you can do something’s better than me, makes you no special than me. It just says we are different and it should end there especially if you feel like you don’t want to like things that I like but you expect me yo like what you like.

No one is abnormal and nothing in life is abnormal, things and people are simply different.

Does love at first sight exist? I don’t think so.

Does this thing called love at first sight really exist? I don’t think I understand what that is because according to me, love develops over time. I agree to interest at first sight and then while you spend time with a person love will develop if it has to. I met a stranger a few days ago, he’s no longer a stranger now because since we’ve been talking daily. Today is the fifth day, so for the past four we were talking, not verbally but, you know WhatsApp and Facebook still qualifies as talking I guess.
We were both at the zoo and he was going the opposite direction as me, I saw him and we looked at each other, I went on to sit on the bench that I was approaching which was my plan from the on set.
My plan was to jus be at the zoo and survive city life, and read or write what I like, which is what I did. However, just after switching my iPad on, I could see someone sitting next to me but my eyes were just glued to the sceen. After a momen my new neighbour said “hi” , I looked up in a “please don’t disturb” way. And bang it was the strange I saw.
Needless to say, we talked and talked and talked, four hours passed whilst talking. On the.fourth hour my new friend moved a little in the middle of the bench, because the whole time he was siding at the end of the bench while I was on the other end.
As he came in the middle that when the “I think I love you, thats why I came back” story begun.
So I’ve been asking him what he feels like, why does he call that feeling love? He feels embarrassed and thinks I’m a different woman, but I honestly would like to know.
Is there something called love at first time?

Coffee and writing equals good content.

Today it’s the first of May and it’s a holiday, it’s called workers day. It’s the third holiday this month. I woke up to a sound of singing birds, and although my bedroom curtain are thick and the room is dark, I felt tempted to look outside. The sky is clear, blue and unconditional. Beautiful morning, I’m blessed to live in South Africa because I get to see many of such mornings.

Anyway I made a cup of coffee and I’m writing to you as I’m sipping on it. And then I realized coffee and writing somehow go together, I can’t even remember how many times do I write without a hot sweet smelling aroma of coffe next to me. No it’s not that I can’t remember, I don’t write without coffee by my side.

What makes your writing juices flow?

What was the shortest/quickest time you took to read a book?

I read a 161 pages book in five hours and 25 minutes, and a 725 pages book in Two weeks. But these were of course the good, informative and uputdownable books. Paulo Choelo’s The Alchemist and Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead…… I have a confession to make though, since 2007 till now, 2012, I have already read The Alchemist four more times, but I can’t start The Fountainhead again since I read it in 2010. And guess what, I bought it in January of 2009 after a client of mine recommended it, but I could only crack ita over a year later. It’s big and intimidating, but once you start you can’t go back.

The best book that I have read so far.

I’m an avid reader who reads anything readable but the day I read Pauto Coelho’s The Alchemist in 2007, I fell in love with his wring in an unbelievable way. Especially because I then I was saying I don’t read fiction and novels, I was reading “serious” stuff. So on the 2nd of November 2007, I was browsing the books at a bookstore and I heard three different people asking about this book and I decided to take a look at what it was talking about, I couldn’t believe it.

I bought it, went home and I got home at around ten in the night and I starated reading it at around 22h30, the intention was just to scan it and sleep, guess what, I ended up sleeping at around 4h30 the following morning unbelievably, Iwasn’t tirea instead I was excited and felt like continuingtoo read this beautiful book.

Needless to say, I fell in love in love with Paulo’s wring from that day till today. I can’t believe his magical way of connecting with his readers. And every one of his books has a life changing experience.
